Patient Information

The team at West Creek Dental looks forward to welcoming you and your family to our comfortable South Austin, TX dental office. We are committed to providing the best possible dental care—and getting to know our patients on a personal level. Our goal is to provide you with a lifetime of high-quality dental care.

New Patients

When you are ready to make an appointment, please give us a call at (512) 394-7989 or use the online scheduler. Our new patient forms are available on our website, and we recommend that you print them out and fill them in before your appointment. Otherwise, you’ll want to show up to your appointment about 10 minutes early to give you enough time to fill out paperwork.

If you are coming to our dental office for a routine examination and cleaning, Dr. Poonam Gokhale will conduct an examination, and unless you bring in recent x-rays from your prior dentist, she may recommend that we take a full set while you are here.

If you have arranged for a dental cleaning, our hygienist will also clean your teeth at your first appointment. Depending on how long it’s been since your last cleaning, we may need to schedule you for a follow-up cleaning.

Those who come to us with a specific dental issue will have a consultation and examination by Dr. Gokhale. She will go over her exam findings and talk to you about treatment options. You will have plenty of time to ask questions and get as much information as you need so you can make a good decision about your oral health. Most likely, you will schedule another appointment for treatment.

What to Bring to Your Dental Appointment

Be sure to have the following items and information readily available at your appointment.

  • A photo identification card
  • Dental and medical insurance card
  • Previous x-rays, if available
  • A list of current medications
  • Any medical conditions of which we should be aware

Appointment Times

Dr. Gokhale sees patients between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm Monday through Thursday. We do our best to run on time, so you rarely have to wait more than a minute or two. There are times when we might have patients in for dental emergencies, which could delay your appointment a bit. We ask for your understanding and patience should emergencies occur that impact our schedule.

We Welcome Your Questions

If you have any questions before your first appointment, or if you are anxious about your appointment, please don’t hesitate to give us a call. We look forward to ensuring a good dental experience for you and your family.
